The International Journal of Echinococcoses (IJE) is an international, scientific, open access periodical published by independent, unbiased, and triple-blinded peer-review principles. The goal of this new journal is to publish multidisciplinary research focusing on all aspects of Echinococcus spp. infections and associated human and animal health outcomes. The target audience of the journal includes researchers in all fields related to echinococcoses, physicians, and healthcare professionals who are interested or working in all medical disciplines, provided that the scientific field of interest is related to Echinococcus spp. infections.

The journal is the official publication of the Turkish Association of Hydatidology and it is published 3 times a year, in March, July, and November. The publication language of the journal is English.
